Queen Camilla, who traveled to Italy with King Charles, seemed to have a pleasant experience in the beautiful country. During their visit to Rome, the royals were invited to dinner by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. King Charles and his consort had a personal tour with the science popularizer Alberto Angela. While strolling through the gardens of the picturesque Villa Pamphili, they finally met with Giorgia Meloni, the Prime Minister. As a surprise, the British rulers also had a private meeting with Pope Francis, which was questioned until the last minute due to the Pontiff's health condition. After visiting the Eternal City, the royals are on their way to Ravenna, where a visit to Dante's tomb awaits them. The two senior members of the royal family also had a special occasion to celebrate: their 20th wedding anniversary, which seems firmer than ever. In response to journalists' curiosity about the private aspects of Charles and Camilla's married life, the Queen said the following when talking about the secret of a fulfilled married life: "Twenty years... who can believe it's already twenty years [...] I'm not sure; I suppose it's really a kind of friendship, being able to laugh about the same things, being able to enjoy life together".
