Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast and the most followed creator on YouTube, now earns more with his chocolate brand Feastables than with his media businesses. Feastables, owned by Donaldson, generated a revenue of 228.7 million euros and a profit of over 18.2 million euros in 2024, surpassing his media business for the first time. Feastables produces chocolate bars from ethical sources in various flavors and is available at many major US retailers, including Walmart and Target. Donaldson expects Feastables to surpass his media business again in 2025, with a projected revenue of 473.8 million euros, compared to 262.4 million euros from YouTube and 95.6 million euros from other projects. Donaldson's media business, which includes his YouTube channel and the Amazon Prime show 'Beast Games,' generated a revenue of 224 million euros in 2024 but lost nearly 72.9 million euros. The loss is partly due to the high costs of 'Beast Games,' which exceeded its budget of 100 million US dollars (91.1 million euros), although it attracted 50 million viewers in 25 days. Donaldson earns only 'a few million' from advertising revenue and brand deals for each YouTube video that regularly exceeds 100 million views. MrBeast started his YouTube career in 2012 with gaming videos and eventually gained popularity with his unique challenge-based content and philanthropy.
